Dr. Enver Hasani

Prof. Dr. Enver Hasani is President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo. He is also a Professor of International Law and International Relations at the University of Prishtina. Prior to his appointment as Judge of the Constitutional Court in 2009, President Hasani served as Rector of the University of Prishtina, a position held from 2006 after serving as Dean of Faculty of Law of this University. From 1992 to 1997 President Hasani worked as Legal Adviser in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania. President Hasani has published numerous academic articles in different local, regional and international journals, regarding different aspects of civil law, constitutional law, public international law and international relations. He has published four books in the field of International Law and International Relations, two of which were published in English: The Dissolution of Yugoslavia and the Case of Kosovo: Legal and Political Aspects (1999), and Self-Determination, Territorial Integrity and International Stability: the Case of Yugoslavia (2003). President Hasani completed his law studies at the University of Prishtina; he also completed his first master studies, receiving a "Master of Law" degree in Civil and Economic Law. President Hasani earned his second master in International Law and Relations at the Bilkent University in Ankara (Turkey), where he also completed his PhD studies in the same field.
