Pierre Thielbörger

Pierre Thielboerger holds a PhD in international law (European University Institute), a Master in law and a master in communication science (both University of Hamburg) as well as Master in Public Policy (Harvard University). He was scholar of the German Academic Merit Foundation, the Hertie Foundation, the Haniel Foundation and the German Academic Exchange Foundation. Since 2011, he is J-Professor at the Institute for the Law of Peace and Armed Conflict of Ruhr-University Bochum and the law faculty. He holds an additional university teaching position at the Leuphana University Lüneburg and is member of the board of advisors of the Studienkolleg zu Berlin. He holds a FP 7 Career Integration Grant and is member of the Mercator Foundation's Global Young Faculty. His main research interests include public international law, human rights (in particular socio-economic rights), public policy analysis, arts of communication and negotiation analysis.
